1st day of school (again)

so here starts another term of school.. stats this time isn't really stats at all.. it's more of designing experiments and using ANOVA.. ok lah.. =p the lectures are't dull, lecturer is.. how shall i put it.. fun? sarcastic? interesting..? =P turns out that he'll be taking us for our next module on Learning & Behaviour.. he's not bad, at least he doesn't read str. out from the slides.. more info given out of the slides.. which i prefer.. =) wonder how tutorial will be like.. and tml is the 1st tut.. morning class somemore.. *sigh*

forensics.. *grin* i'm so looking forward to stories.. and it's the correct time and place for Dr Tay to tell them.. hehe.. but i'm getting "sick" of having to give intros during the 1st lects.. and we did the same intro for stats.. x_X but can't really blame tis time cos the class had new faces - the PT-ers mainly - and Dr Tay wanted to know.. but he wun remember the names aniwae.. =P just to pass time i guess.. and ended quite early.. ^_^ no lect slides for this mod, but ALOT of readings.. haf to do a lit review, mid term test, debate & final exam.. not too bad i think.. kinda like anthro & socio, having to do debate and consideration of participation marks..

got home to find a letter from the International Society of Poets.. i've been nominated as Poet of the Year for 2005.. o_O'''.. and also an invitation to go for their 3-day summer convention & symposium in Washington DC. definitely cannot go to the convention cos of school.. and it's also EX. abt US$600.. air tix & accomendaion not inc.. sometimes i wonder if this another way where they get revenue from.. but have to admit their marketing strategy is quite good thou.. =P
