Another Day to Vivo.. XD

went to Vivo again, but mainly to see the Doulos with mum & sis.. XD it's world's oldest ocean going passenger ship WITH the largest floating book fair.. The MV Doulos. click =HERE= for their webbie.. it was built in 1914, 2 years younger than the Titanic.. and it has traveled to over 100 countries.. the crew are volunteers, serving the nations as an expression of their faith to God.. the books sold there thus were quite "christian-ish".. but they had stuff on music, sports and medicine.. as well as a cafe.. :P oh, and there were some cute guys on board the ship too.. hehehe.. XD

banner on the side of the ship..

the Doulos

books on medicine..

quite amazing that's it was quite PACKED. and the books are priced according to 'units', which will be converted to SGD; like 100 units = S$4. saves them from changing price tags to which ever country they go to.. :P

one of their life boats..

view of Sentosa from Doulos..

Vivo from the Doulos.. THE SKY IS SOOO NICE!!!

more of the Doulos.. XD

the Cheng Ho III floating ard the Doulos.. ugly background spoil the pic of the beautiful boat.. x.X

saw this thing outside Vivo.. haha..

the sun setting.. and there was lightning at the 'blotch' of dark clouds..

wanted to go Sushi Tei.. but gave up waiting cos the staff there are RE-TARDS. honestly. they give seats according to like 1st-come-1st-serve basis.. not by no. of ppl. i went to take a peek onto the restaurant & saw that there were quite a few 4-seaters, and few 2-seaters. aniwae, there were A LOT of couples in front of us. and since they serve by who comes 1st, waiting to get to our turn will take AGES! even thou there were EMPTY seats available for the 3 of us right there and then.

getting slightly irritated, i went to ask how long it would take for a table for 3, the the person went: 'you last one is it?' in really BAD English & a NOT NICE tone. (that put me off even more) and when i said no i was somewhere in the middle, she look at me BLANKLY with a hint of irritation and went: 'sor-rie, but i dun-tch kno-ow'. and went back to talking to the customers at the front. ~wtf

AND SO we ended up at Swensen's.. took 3 ala carte and had access to the salad bar.. ^_^
