HK Trip

Day 1:

i left for HK with just a backpack. had some of my clothes in LV's luggage. :P
watched CSI and the middle/ending of Hula Girls (it's rather TOUCHING *sniff*) and Miss Potter. But couldn't finish watching Miss Potter cos we were going to land already.. *sigh* the food was so-so. took the pasta choice.. and they also served smoked salmon. *ick* and Hagen Das ice cream! ♥ had lots of apple juice too. :P







after settling down, we walked to the ladies' market to look see and also to have dinner.. it rained on and off.. and we got wet cos we didn't have an umbrella.. and i was almost decapitated by umbrellas or had umbrellas near poking my eyes!!!

found a shop selling Sanrio stuff and i went nuts over the badtzmaru merchandise. got lots of stuff. 1st round of damage done to my pockets..


Dinner: fried 'yang chong' rice, roasted goose meat cantonese style, fish maw with bitter gourd, some vegetarian thingy that consists of black fungus and various mushrooms wrapped in i-dunno-what.


krispy kream doughnuts. NICE!! and sweet.. XD had the choco coated custard one & the strawberry one. (see bottom left most corner of the rings & shells) ♥ but kinda ex. abt S$2.40 a piece..

Day 2:

decided to forgo the city tour and headed to Hong Kong Island to Madam Tussauds and explore The Peak.






we could have taken a bus.. but decided to walk instead.. more things to see.. and explore.. XD

it got really cloudy fast. but it was soo windy & cool.. ♥ lucky it didn't rain..


if you watched forrest gump, you should know this.. :P food was good and also damn EX! spent like S$100+ in there on food.. we got to keep the our drink glass thou. it's huge!

we then went to Temple Street for the so called Men's street/night market. i got a belt there. both night markets had stuff for both sexes, but ladies' street was much better.. more stuff. and our feet ached like mad from all the walking..

Day 3:

took a train to Tsim Sha Tsui.. and spent happliy like nobody's business. swiped our cards store after store. *hears pocket scream* went to the factory outlets stores got clothes for family. went into =Izzue= and i spent like S$200 there.. x_X but i so love the clothes too. then we went into miramar shopping centre and into =UNIQLO=. and i went crazy there. I LOVE THE CLOTHES!! and they're from Japan.. ♥♥♥♥ i also got a pair of Birkenstock.. hehehe..


then we met our guest star for dinner.. XD it was good to see her again.. had dinner, talked and walked a bit and YY had to go off cos she had sch the next day.. LV and i contintued shopping ard.. x_X another day of feet torture.. i should have worn my Reebok track shoes!!

Day 4:

couldn't do much so we kinda slept in.. then asker checking in, i got food stuff from the airport for some ppl.. then in the departure hall.. i went crazy again and swiped a stack load of disney stuff.. (see below) the cans of cookies/chocolate crunch was selling for 4 for HK$100. reason was thay the goodies was going to expire in Jul '07. but with me, it'll be gone by next month.. XD so after checking in, i had only my backpack and my stuffed toy (see below for pic), then one bag of local goodies. after entering the departure hall, i ended up with two more disney bags. all in all, i had 5 bags (inc the one i checked in)!


thank god for the personal tv. i watched Letters from Iwo Jima on the way back.. NICE but sad, and i felt like thwaping the some of the jap soldiers. =_=" we were seated near the back, so by the time the food came to us, the only choice of food left was chicken & rice. the chicken was quite nice, but didn't finish the rice and shrimp salad. and took my time eating the chocolate ice cream - magnum. ♥ ^_^

lots and lots of badtzmaru's stuff! i love the deck of cards.. so sad can't find much of badtzmaru's stuff here.. i always see lots of things of the cat-with-no-mouth-but-loves-to-eat-cookies.. -_____-"


my BEST BUY! ♥ i just had to get it after i saw it!! and i hand carried it back home. and it's wearing my to-be-Honors gown! XD
