Saturday visit..

went to visit (Bro.) Jeff wif my mom and sis.. the old formation hse was in sembawang, now it's at punggol.. so far and very deserted place.. got to the NEL station near 11am and he came to pick up us in a mini bus.. hehe.. did i say the place was very 'ulu' - deserted? it's like a mini jungle and at one lane, u find bungalows.. o_O HUGE.. and the formation hse consists of 2 bungalows.. abt 10 ppl living there.. and they haf a rather hard time maintaining the place.. each has their responsibility in keeping the hse clean.. they haf a library [a dream of mine to haf in my hse 1 day], prayer area, computer room which was formally a kitchen, and the rest of the rooms are their bedrooms - some rooms are further partitioned into more bedrooms.. the time we spent there was quite cool as there was wind blowing quite constantly, but it can be very hot too.. *phew* since this is a formation hse for males, we were the only females there.. the Brothers there are quite friendly.. maybe a bit shy too, to see us females in their domain? =P they're mostly from overseas.. the Father present was really nice.. he's Irish.. hee.. i love his accent.. and he told me tt Freud said tt the onli ppl who cud not be psycho-analysed were the Irish.. haha.. =) *interesting* we joined in for their mid day prayer and lunch. they can't really own anything, so mostly rely (not really rely, but u get the idea) on donations, such as today's meal- shepard's pie, gado gado and chicken curry.. >_< dun tink donated food is bad, the food was rather good! and even they got a suckling pig for CNY. enjoyed my visit there..


their formation hse tt consists of 2 bungalows.. [*jealous* hee..]


the garden.. [SO NICE!!] they get birds of all sorts visiting.. =)


the tree isn't real, it's a sculpture of Christ hanging and there's a serpent too coiling ard the tree trunk.. (but dun tink u can really see it.. =p)


dining area.. quite cooling.. and it's outdoor! not forgetting the ants and flies tt 'visit' during meal times.. but it makes washing up easier - use the hose and let the water drain away.. hehe..

had relatives over in the late afternoon.. i'm still pretty amused tt ppl still think psychology=listening to ppl talk=counselling o_O''..

Finding Neverland - it's a really nice movie.. sad ending thou.. *sob* it's abt the author/playwright of Peter Pan, and what was his motivation/muse to write it.. i tink for once he's in a 'normal' role.. as in not some wierd eccentric character.. hee.. fans of Johnny Depp go watch! u'll be drooling away.. hehe.. =P

well, more visiting tml.. x_X.. wen will it end? still haf some readings to do b4 tutorials start on mon.. *siGh* alot to read again.. and there's 2 modules to read for now.. haiz..
