had the 1st tutorials.. devpt psych one SUCKED. the tutor din have a good impression of us, and neither had we of her. a few of us were in school WAY before 9, she came at 9:03 but since none of us saw the "lecture in progress" sign on, so we thought she had not arrived. we finally went in at 9:20, and she blamed us. !@#$% and cos she's a trained and qualified art therapist, we did drawings in class today.. i miss John's class, at least i think he's better than the tutor we have now, see more smiley faces. the tutor we have now reminds me of an OLD SCHOOL CHINESE TEACHER.. x_X bad memories.. *shudders* the lecturer said that assignments cud be handed a week after the exam, but the tutor initially said 2 weeks BEFORE the exam. ~WTF?! and when we bargained to a miserably 2-3 days later (the weekends), she said that she never had any students in the USA bargain for date dues before.. *bah*
Noosh was usual, ended class really early.. and i 'volunteered' myself to be the class rep again.. 3rd time in a row.. see i so nice.. hahahaha... =P
stayed back for the career talk.. gained some info on how to write resume & interviewing skills.. not too bad.. we had Ken for the "psych part". trust a psychologist to use tests.. he introduced 3 personality tests and said that our personality and career must be congruent.. wah.. BIG word wor.. kekeke.. =P and hearing him speak again makes me miss his lectures.. and of course Forensics!! wonder when we'll know our results for that.. it also makes me wince to think of the devpt tutor we'll be stuck with for another 10 sessions.. *SIGH* hope she'll get better as time goes by.. the last speaker was quite fun, but not that relevant to psych. she's from the hospitality area, senior manager or sth for the Jurong Bird Park. and that line looks tough, need to know stuff offhand, must be patient and smiling all the time, cos it's the service sector.. wow.. kudos to her.. =)
